Who We Are

Just Start Applications was founded in 2011 by Leah Kaminsky, a seasoned writing and admissions coach from Austin, TX. Our mission statement is simple: to take the stress out of the college and graduate school admissions applications and oh yeah, out of writing, too.  We know that you can write great essays, whether you’re applying to college or writing your thesis statement, and we’re here to get you through whatever is blocking you from your goals.  We offer comprehensive writing and counseling packages to help you with every stage of the process.  Our counselors have all worked in admissions and are experts at helping you discover what you need and find the perfect fit.
